What Happened? A Political Scientist Looks at the 2020 Election

We’re excited to invite you all to join us next month for an in-depth analysis of the election by our special guest, Barry Burden, UW Professor of Political Science, Lyons Family Chair in Electoral Politics and Director of the Elections Research Center. Professor Burden plans to leave plenty of time for questions.

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to have our amazing senator Tammy Baldwin joining us this weekend to kick off our weekend of phone banking for Joe Biden and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin! After you sign up for a shift and get the Zoom link, you can join the kickoff call at 9AM on Saturday to hear her speak directly to Team Gold volunteers about the stakes of this election and the importance of doing all we can to elect Democrats this year. How You Can Help Flip Wisconsin Blue

THIS IS IT, FOLKS! Looking for an opportunity to help get out Democratic votes in Wisconsin? We’re phone banking every week between now and November 3 to make sure we can get as many votes as we can out for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and our state and local candidates! We will have phone banks every Monday and Thursday evenings from 6PM-8PM, plus shifts at 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, and 6PM on Saturdays, and 12PM, 3PM, and 6PM on Sundays. You can find sign-up links for all of these dates below.

Can you make it a regular commitment down the home stretch? If you can spare 2-3 hours at the same time each week for the next few weeks, make it your regular Democracy action time and sign up for all of them!

DNC Watch Parties

Join Team Gold and fellow west Madison Democrats to engage with Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in a pre-Democratic National Convention watch party. We will gather on Zoom at 6:30 to launch the even with some info about this year’s campaign and then live-stream the festivities together!

We are ramping up our volunteer efforts for the 2020 election and we want you to join us! To that end, we’re holding two exciting virtual events in the next two weeks to help you get fired up to help out:
