Vote at any of these in-person absentee voting sites in Madison
- Bring a valid photo ID
- Absentee voting begins 2 weeks before Election Day in Madison
- Request your absentee ballot – no excuse or reason for voting absentee is needed. You will need a witness to sign your ballot before returning it.
- Watch this video to be sure you fill out your absentee ballot correctly so it can be counted
- Be sure to get your ballot in the mail at least 1 week ahead of the election to be sure it’s in on time!
*NOTE*
- You MAY return your completed ballot to an election official at an in-person early voting site.
- Only the absentee voter may return their own ballot, with exceptions for voters with disabilities.
- Regularly check your voter registration status at MyVote.WI.gov
- You must re-register if you move or change your name
- Register at MyVote.WI.gov, any public library, the City Clerk’s office, any In-Person (Early) Voting location, or on Election Day
