Grass Roots Activism and the 2020 Election

Join us to be inspired to help elect Joe Biden by Madisonians sharing their experiences with the Obama campaign!
First, we’ll have a book conversation with Madison Author Mary Lang Sollinger, author of From Inspiration to Activism: A Personal Journey Through Obama’s Presidential Campaign. Mary will talk about her experiences with the Obama campaign and how grassroots activism made a difference then and can make a difference now.
Mary’s talk will be followed by a visual presentation by Pete Souza, President Obama’s White House Photographer. Pete will share photographs and stories from the Obama/Biden Presidency again relevant to our grassroots efforts.
